Lugar: Aula de la Naturaleza del Parque Abelardo Sánchez. Ruta: 10:00 h. Comienzo de la ruta “Cañón de los Almadenes”  y visita a la microreserva  “Los Yesares de Hellín”.

11:00 h. Visita al paraje “Garganta de los Almadenes” y almuerzo.

11:30 h. Regreso al autobús

12:30 h. Panorámica “embalse de Camarillas y  retorno a la localidad de Albacete. 

Regreso:14:30 h. Llegada a Albacete

Route:10:00 h. Top route "Canyon of Almadenes" and visit the microreserve "The Yesares Hellin".

11:00 h. Visit to the site "Throat of Almadenes" and lunch.

11:30 h. Back on the bus

12:30 h. Overview "Camarillas reservoir and return to the town of Albacete.

Return:14:30 h. Arrival in Albacete


CAÑÓN DE LOS ALMADENES Se encuentra situado en las cercanías del poblado de Las Minas, podemos acceder por un camino existente , cerca de la estación vieja y la Central Eléctrica. El “Cañón de los Almadenes”, está cerrado al sur por una escarpada montaña caliza normal al río y hendida por una estrechísima hoz aserrada, que constituye  la “garganta de los Almadenes”, con un ancho de 4 o 5 metros, por 80 metros de altura. Destacan las formaciones  cársticas y las surgencias de agua. El conjunto que nos encontraremos sirve para dar salida a las aguas del pantano de Camarillas pertenecientes al río Mundo.

INFORMACIÓN MEDIOAMBIENTAL La presa y el embalse de Camarillas están incluidos en el Lugar de Importancia Comunitaria (LIC) perteneciente a la “Sierra de Alcaraz y cañones del Segura y del Mundo” (Cód.. ES4210008). Los LIC se integran dentro de la Red de Áreas Protegidas de Castilla—La Mancha. FLORA: destacan la presencia de encinares en las partes bajas llegando hasta los 1.300 metros de altitud y pinares. De forma puntual quejigares y rebollares relícticos. Los ríos y arroyos de la zona gozan en general, de aceptable calidad y contienen numerosos tipos de comunidades vegetales riparias especializadas. FAUNA: destacar la presencia del Topillo de cabrera, lagartija de Valverde y sapo partero bético. Toda la zona es importante para las aves rapaces rupícolas, como son el águila perdicera, águila real, búho real y halcón.

ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION

The dam and reservoir are included in Camarillas Site of Community Importance (SCI) belonging to the "Sierra de Alcaraz and Segura cannons and the World" (Code. ES4210008). The LIC are integrated within the Network of Protected Areas of Castilla-La Mancha. FLORA: highlight the presence of oak in the lower parts reaching up to 1,300 meters and pine. By timely Pyrenean oaks and relict. Rivers and streams in the area enjoy generally acceptable quality and contain many types of specialized riparian plant communities. FAUNA: emphasize the presence of the Cabrera vole, lizard and toad bético Valverde. The whole area is important for raptors rupícolas, such as the eagle, golden eagle, owl and hawk.
