PRESA DE CÁRCABOS Y RIBERA DEL RIO MUNDO (AYNA)/CARCABÓS DAM AND WORLD BANK RIVER (AYNA)

Ayna se encuentra en un precioso y abrupto enclave natural, junto al río Mundo, en la comarca de la   Sierra del Segura, provincia de Albacete. Situada al sur de la provincia de Albacete, a 60 km de la capital; para llegar a Ayna desde Albacete hay que tomar la CM-3203. La ruta se encuentra enclavada en la Sierra del Segura de Albacete, en el estrecho cañón del río Mundo que ha ido creciendo constreñido por su cauce y creando las espectaculares y afiladas paredes que lo encierran. Es un lugar ideal para la práctica de la escalada y la práctica de turismo de aventura en general.

                Royo Odrea: aldea espectacular colocada en una ladera de gran pendiente y defendida por las peñas “El Prao” y “El Pico”.

            Cárcabos: aldea situada entre grandes cortados y agreste paisaje donde se encuentra la presa de Cárcabos.

 

Ayna is located in a beautiful and rugged natural setting along the river world, in the region of the Sierra del Segura, Albaceteprovince. Located south of the province of Albacete, 60 km from the capital to reach Ayna from Albacete have to take the CM-3203. The route is located in the Sierra del Segura de Albacete,in the narrow river canyon that has been growing worldconstrained by its banks and creating spectacular and sharpwalls which enclose it. It is an ideal place to practice climbing andadventure tourism practice in general.
