La ruta comienza en el paraje conocido como La Cruz del Pardalejo, a poca distancia de la aldea de El Roble. Esta aldea, a los pies de la peña del mismo nombre constituye un enclave pintoresco conocido por su nacimiento de agua y por su vega. A la sombra de su peña abundan pinares y coscojares, poblados de plantas aromáticas como el espliego, el romero y el tomillo. Entre la fauna que puebla la zona a visitar se encuentran liebres y conejos, y su principal depredador, el zorro.
Seguiremos la senda que rodea la base de la peña entre huertos y pinares que nos llevarán al Sahuco, pueblo conocido por su santuario y por su romería.
De la historia de las fiestas del Cristo del Sahuco cuentan que el origen de la romería es que un 28 de agosto intentaron robar la figura del Cristo nueve personas del Sahuco y tres de Peñas de San Pedro, antes del amanecer y corriendo en calzoncillos pulgueros. Es por ellos que todos los 28 de agosto continúa la tradición de correr vestidos de blanco para llevar al Cristo de las Peñas de San Pedro al Sahuco, donde reside nueve meses por las nueve personas que eran de allí, y para devolverlo a las Peñas, donde reside otros tres meses.

of water and its valley. In the shade of pines and kermes oak abound rock, populated by aromatic herbs such
as lavender, rosemary and thyme. Among the fauna that
inhabitsthe area to visit are hares and rabbits, and their
main predator,the fox.

rock between orchards and pine forests that will lead to Sahuc, village known for its shrine and its pilgrimage.
