LAGUNA DEL SALOBRALEJO
La laguna del Sobralejo se sitúa junto a la aldea del Sobralejo, en el término municipal de Higueruela, formado parte del área endorreica oriental como las lagunas de La Higuera, Corral Rubio y Petrola. Su superficie aparece sensiblemente reducida a causa de varios canales de desecación y de las obras que dieron lugar a la vía férrea que transcurre próxima a una de sus orillas.Algunos años se seca completamente en verano, salvo algunas charcas marginales, protegidas por abundante vegetación palustre, que contiene agua durante todo el año, sirviendo de refugio estival a la población patera sedentaria de anades reales (anas platyrhynchos) y a otras aves de los ecosistemas lagunares. La forma de la laguna es ovalada, de contornos regulares y con unas dimensiones aproximadas de: 600 m. de longitud por 300 m. de anchura.
Las especies vegetales que la rodean son Salicornia, espadaña, carrizo, junto marítimo y junco chorrero.
Las aves acuáticas que viven en ella son Gaviota reidora,Polla de agua, Avefria, anade real o Azulón, Anade Rabudo, Pato cuchara, Cerceta común, Agachadiza común.

width.
The surrounding plant species are Salicornia, bulrushes, reeds,rushes along maritime
and slide.
Water birds that live there are black-headed
gull, moorhen,Lapwing, mallards or mallard, pintail, Northern Shoveler, Teal,Common Snipe.
